New Delhi: After multiple delays and a long wait, Team India finally landed in Delhi following their T20 World Cup victory in the Caribbean. The Men in Blue were scheduled to arrive on Monday but Hurricane Beryl forced them to stay in Barbados for three extra days. After the hurricane moved from Barbados to Jamaica, the Indian cricket team and the support staff boarded a special chartered flight on Wednesday and after a long journey finally arrived in the Indian capital.
Thousands of Indian fans flocked to the Delhi airport to welcome their heroes. Superstar batter Virat Kohli, who was named Player of the Match in the final, was shocked to see the number of people surrounding the team bus.

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya also joined the party and danced his heart out upon arrival at the team hotel.
