New Delhi: Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav recently opened up on his personal life, revealing his wedding plans upon reaching Kanpur as a T20 World Cup winner. Kuldeep was an essential part of Team India as he helped the Men in Blue lift the coveted World Cup trophy. The mystery spinner saw himself amidst a barrage of rumours that he was going to marry a Bollywood actress but Kuldeep set the record straight.
As Kuldeep is one of the few remaining bachelors in the Men in Blue outfit, he offered some exciting news for his fans who are eager for his wedding bells. He hinted at his marriage, saying that the fans would get the good news soon but cleared the air on him marrying a Bollywood actress. He playfully suggested his preference of an ideal partner considering the care of his family as a priority.
In a chat with NDTV, Kuldeep opened up about his marriage plans but denied that he would be marrying a Bollywood actress. “You’ll get the good news soon, but it won’t be an actress. It is important that she can take care of me and my family,” Kuldeep told NDTV.
Kuldeep gets a warm welcome in Kanpur
Returning as World Cup heroes, Team India arrived to a rousing reception from the fans in Mumbai who graced their victory parade at the Marine Drive and the felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium to make it a memory of a lifetime.
After Kuldeep arrived in Kanpur, he also got a similar welcome from his fans over there. Upon his arrival, a plethora of fans turned out to welcome the World Cup-winning spinner who scalped 10 wickets during the tournament. The enthusiastic fans arranged fireworks, dhols, and music to honour Kuldeep for the contribution he made at the marquee event.
“We are very happy. We waited for this for a long time. It feels great to see our people here. It is a great pleasure to bring the World Cup. This is more for our India than for us… It was very nice to meet him (PM Narendra Modi),” Kuldeep told ANI.
