New Delhi: Star Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasa Stankovic announced their separation on Thursday after four years of marriage. The cricketer-model couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to confirm the same, after almost over a month of rumours and speculations regarding their relationship.
Hardik, who played a pivotal role in India’s T20 World Cup win, confirmed that they have mutually parted ways which was in the best interest of both and will hence co-parent their son Agastya. Thursday proved to be quite an emotional day for the Indian cricketer as before his confirmed divorce, he was also snubbed from any kind of leadership role as BCCI announced India’s squads for the tour to Sri Lanka this month.

The cricketer-model couple reportedly first met in the year 2018 in Mumbai through a common friend. After meeting in the vibrant nightlife of the city, both of them started dating each other. Despite their different professions, maybe fate brought them together and they soon became the talk of the town. Their first public appearance was on Hardik’s birthday in the same year.
Growing closer in 2019
After their first meet in 2018, 2019 witnessed a growth in their relationship as they came more closer towards each other. Natasa publicly referred to Hardik as his best friend and someone who has been with her during her ups and downs. It was the month of May when rumours regarding their separation started doing the rounds, leaving the entire fraternity in shock. Rumours developed quite swiftly as Natasa dropped the Pandya surname from her Instagram handle and her absence from the stands during the IPL matches was also pointed out. The couple also started living separately and were not seen together in public events. On July 18, Thursday, the couple officially confirmed their separation.

While the entire globe knows about star Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, Natasa’s identity only came to the fore once she married Hardik. Born in Serbia, she embarked her career as a model before setting her steps into the world of Indian cinema.
