New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) completed its 10th season and will conduct a mega auction ahead of its 11th season. Mashal Sports will conduct the player auction in Mumbai, The auction will take place on two days 15 and 16 August, PKL just celebrated its decade anniversary on July 26, 2024.

Mashal Sports also revealed the new logo of PKL ahead of season 11, The logo showcases the same colors that are used in our flag, which portrays the game as our proud sport and also connects people.

PKL’s auction has witnessed broking the highest bid player in every auction as Pawan Sehrawat remains the most expensive buy-in PKL history in 2.26 crores in 2022 and after that sold for 2.6 crore in 2023. The Raiders remain popular in the auction except in season 6, all the most expensive buys are Raiders in auction history. It will be a historic day in PKL history when many Indians became crorepatis in the PKL auction. PKL also became the most successful sporting league completed 10 years after the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The PKL season 11 auction starts on 6:30 pm IST on 15 and 16 August in Mumbai.

How many franchises take part in auction?

There are 12 franchise that will take part in PKL season 11 auction as Bengaluru Bulls, U Mumba, Puneri Paltan, Bengal Warriors, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Patna Pirates, Telugu Titans, Dabang Delhi, Gujarat Giants, UP Yoddha, Haryana Steelers, and Tamil Thalaivas.

Pawan Sehrawat was the most expensive buy in the PKL 10 auction as he sold for 2.6 crore, five players including Pawan sold for 1 crore plus in which Fazel Atrachali, an Iranian defender sold for 1.6 crore and Maninder Singh sold for 2.12 crore. Players were divided into four categories A, B, C, and D.
