WWE star John Cena shares more details on farewell tour

New Delhi: John Cena is one of the biggest names of the WWE and has been associated with the company for more than a decade. He is one of the greatest and most influential wrestlers not just in WWE but in all sports entertainment.

He joined the WWE back in 2002 and was a regular member of all the WWE’s shows. But recently he’s not been very active in the WWE and has been busy in Hollywood. But anytime he appears in the event, it is always a delight for the fans.

Earlier this year, the WWE star announced on Money In The Bank that he will be retiring from the company and said that 2025 will be his last year in the WWE. He said “Why am I here? Tonight I officially announce my retirement from the WWE.” He further announced that 2025 will be his last year in WWE and he will be going on a retirement tour to pay homage to the fans of WWE around the world”.

Cena has been working for WWE part-time for the past years and has done a few big Hollywood movies such as Suicide Squad and Fast X.

John Cena in an interview confirmed that his farewell tour will start in January next year and it’ll end in December. He also said that it’s going to be 36 dates around the world to pay thanks to the WWE fans.

“I can probably confirm that Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE. I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January. I’ll end it in December, and it’s going to be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So that’s what I’m doing in 2025”Cena said in an interview with Collider.
