New Delhi: India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra has arrived at the Paris 2024 Olympics Games Village as he begins his quest to defend the Olympic title. The ace Indian athlete is India’s greatest medal hope at the Paris Games.
Chopra etched his name in history books at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 by winning the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw event. Chopra’s first effort of an 87.58m throw made him the first track and field Indian athlete to clinch the yellow metal.
Since claiming the gold in Tokyo, Chopra has taken his game to another level. The Haryana athlete has added the World Athletics Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Championships, and the Diamond League titles to his Olympic gold.
Chopra arrived in Paris and hit the ground running at the Games Village.
