Washington: The much-awaited interview between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former US President Donald Trump will be live broadcast on Monday, August 12 at 8:00 pm ET (05:30 am IST). This comes after Democratic Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris declared Minnesota Governor Tim Walz her running mate for the 2024 White House race.
In a post on X, the world’s richest man, Musk said, “This is unscripted with no limits on subject matter, so should be highly entertaining! If you have specific questions & comments, post them under the chat.”
Meanwhile, the Republican presidential candidate on his social account, Truth Social said, “On Monday night, I’ll be doing a major interview with Elon Musk—details to follow!”
Musk confirmed the interview with Trump on August 12 and said it will be broadcast on X Spaces, reported The Insider Paper.

This comes as Trump and Kamala Harris have not yet engaged in any debate ahead of the US Presidential election. However, last week, Trump declared that he had consented to a September 4 debate on Fox News with Democratic rival Harris.
