Suryakumar Yadav watches MS Dhoni’s biopic amidst Buchi Babu tournament

New Delhi: After leading Team India to a 3-0 victory against Sri Lanka as full-time T20I skipper. Suryakumar Yadav is currently enjoying his break. He registered a score of 58 and 26 in the first two matches and was adjudged the player of the series against Sri Lanka. Suryakumar also made a crucial impact with the ball in the third T20I.

He went on a European holiday with his family and after coming back from Trip Suryakumar is relaxing at his home. The Indian T20I skipper took to Instagram and posted a story of him watching MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. The movie was released in 2016 and is based on the life of India’s legendary captain MS Dhoni. He shared the stills of the movie with heart emojis.

After the break, Suryakumar will play in the Buchi Babu tournament in Tamil Nadu. He will play a match against Jammu and Kashmir on August 27 in Coimbatore. After the Buchi Babu tournament, Suryakumar and Co. will face Bangladesh in the three-match T20I series, starting on October 6 in Gwalior.

‘Playing in Buchi Babu will give me a good practice for red-ball tournaments’: Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav recently in an interview said that he wants to play for India in all three formats and playing in the Buchi Babu tournament will give him good practice.

“I want to play for India in all three formats. Playing in Buchi Babu will give me good practice for the red-ball tournaments this season” Suryakumar was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

He has scored 5628 runs in 82 first-class matches at an average of 46.32 with the help of 14 hundreds and 29 fifties. The Mumbai batter also played one test match for India in Nagpur against Australia and scored only 8 runs on debut.

He also played 37 ODI matches for India and scored 773 runs at an average of 25.76, including four half-centuries. Suryakumar has been dropped from the ODI side after the 50-over World Cup.
