New Delhi: A class act from Harry Kane has apparently turned into a meme material for many fans as the former Tottenham striker refused to lift the Visit Malta trophy after Bayern Munich managed to beat Spurs 3-2 in their recent clash. The English striker re-united with his former team mates and it was a warm welcome for the former Tottenham striker, who is also their all time top scorer with a total of 280 goals in over 400 appearances for the Lilywhites.

The English forward also shared a wholesome moment with his former attack partner Heung-min Son, where he hugged the South Korean as both the players showed their respect to each other. The formidable Spurs duo had some good moments and both were integral for Tottenham squad over the years. He also re-united with the entire Spurs squad and clearly had a great time with them.

However, people were brutal in the comments section as the video was posted and it seemed unfair to a certain Tottenham legend who spent majority of his career playing for them and becoming a complete goal machine for the London side. There were comments such as “Allergic to trophies”, considering the fact that he has never lifted a trophy in his career. His trophy drought has always been mocked by many, while there are fans who also feel bad considering his overall career and the number of goals the Englishman has scored.
Without a doubt, one of the greatest English strikers, it was a little harsh as he tried to show his respect for his former club. A class act and now the fans will be hoping to see him lift the Bundesliga title as the first major trophy of his career.
