New Delhi: WWE Smackdown’s latest episode concluded in Rogers Place, Edmonton, Canada on September 7, Saturday. The episode started with the WWE Undisputed Championship Cody Rhodes addressing Solo Sikoa. Sikoa challenged Rhodes for his Undisputed title, and Rhodes welcomed the fans in Canada.
Sikoa forced Rhodes to fight him next week for the title, but Rhodes turned down the offer. The Bloodline then immediately heated up and stood face-to-face against The Street Profits and DIY. The main event was set for the night as The Bloodline will face The Street Profits and DIY in a 8-man tag team match.
The first match of the night was a women’s singles match where Bayley took on Tiffany Stratton. Bayley elbowed Stratton and hit her on the turnbuckles. Bayley then locks up Stratton and locks through her wrists. Stratton showed her power and pulled down Bayley to the ground and made a couple of shots in the ground and pound. Bayley dragged Stratton into the mat and fought out with some nasty moves and then hit her with The Suicide dive and picked up the win.
Kevin Owens vs Austin Theory vs Grayson Waller in a triple-threat match was all set for the people’s main event. Owens started things off by attacking Theory outside the ring and putting him under the radar from Waller. Waller came from the backside and attacked Owens but Owens punched him back and hit a running forearm to Waller. Owens dominated the whole match and kept beating both opponents. At last, Waller attacked Owens with a forearm smash but then Theory delivered his signature move A-Town down to Waller, and then immediately Owens pinned Waller and won the match.
