England vs Australia 2ndt ODI: Live streaming, head-to-head, pitch and weather report

New Delhi: Australia thrashed England in the first ODI at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on September 19, Thursday. Australia chased down the target of 315 in just 44 overs. England won the toss and elected to bat first, their top-order fired in the powerplay as they added 69 runs in the first powerplay.

English batters were cruising to 350+ but then the Aussies’ lesser-known spinners’ havoc came as Adam Zampa, Marcus Labuschagne, Travis Head and Matthew Short took 9 wickets in England’s inning and bowled out them in 315 runs. In response, Head made a monstrous 154 runs in just 129 balls and didn’t give England a single chance to defend their score. They took three wickets in Australia’s innings but couldn’t stop fireworks from the Aussies side.

England will look to bounce back in the second ODI same as they avenged their first loss in the T20I series against Australia. England’s bowling attack didn’t look lethal in the first ODI, now they might add Reece Topley or Saqib Mahmood to the playing XI. Australia will not make any change in the playing XI and will look to extend their lead to 2-0 in a five-match ODI series.
