According to the India Meteorological Department’s Meteorological Centre, moderate rainfall is likely to continue throughout the day in the city. The IMD daily weather report has also predicted isolated heavy rainfall or thundershowers in Bengaluru for the next few days.

The second Test of the recently concluded Test series between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur was also affected by rain and a wet outfield, which cost a total of 235 overs of play. However, India managed to pull off a miraculous result in less than two days to sweep the series.
