I want to play cricket again: Anderson
In an interaction on Sky Sports, James Anderson said that’s the whole point of going into the auction as he wants to play cricket again. He further said that whether he will get picked or not is a different matter but the feeling of playing the game again is inside him. Anderson said that he thinks that he has more to offer in some shape or form.
“So, however long down the line that might be, in whatever capacity that might be I’m not sure yet. But I’m really keen to play. I feel really fit, I’ve been bowling still, ticking over, so I feel like I’m in a good place and I’d love to have an opportunity to play somewhere,” he added.
Overall, James Anderson has only played 44 T20I matches, 19 of those in English colours, while picking up 41 wickets. In the Test format, the decorated bowler has 700 wickets in 187 matches, being only the third bowler and the only fast bowler, to cross the milestone.
