New Delhi: It was a moment to cherish for Indian sensation Nitish Kumar Reddy as he ruled on the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), displaying his skillsets and batting prowess to the best of his abilities. Nitish slammed his maiden Test hundred at one of the most crucial juncture for India when their ship was drowning and helped then get back on to the shore.
After his remarkable century, apart from the crowd and his teammates, Nitish’s family also celebrated the exceptional feat achieved by the 21-year-old. His father was spotted in tears of joy in the stands when Nitish reached his maiden hundred. After the day culminated, his parents and sister went to the hotel to meet Nitish.
A video was circulated on social media which could see an emotional Nitish meeting up with his parents and sister and later posing for a photo. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to social media site X to upload the video. It was an emotional moment and the video became something to cherish for.
