New Delhi: Delhi Capitals (DC) hammered Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 8 wickets to bag their third win in a row and consolidate their second spot on the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 points table. Delhi Capitals produced a clinical performance with the bat and the ball to continue their winning run in the tournament as they inch closer to securing a spot in the playoffs.
After pacer Mukesh Kumar’s four-wicket haul helped Delhi Capitals restrict LSG to 159/6 in 20 overs, opener Abhishek Porel and KL Rahul slammed half-centuries apiece to guide their team home comfortably with 13 balls to spare. Porel scored 51 off 36 balls while Rahul slammed an unbeaten 57 off 42 balls to play starring role in DC’s successful chase.
