Thiruvananthapuram: Followers, friends and well-wishers express shock and disbelief after the death of Adithya S Nair, the Youtuber in Thiruvananthapuram who died at the medical college hospital after she attempted suicide last week at her home in the city.
Instagram posts started pouring after the news of her death flashed in the TV channels and went viral in social media.
Many of her supporters have expressed their anger and discontentment against the posts that has been put up after Adithya’s alleged break-up blaming her and ‘advising’ her partner to be ‘careful’ against her.
Emotional scenes were witnessed near the Thiruvananthapuram medical college when Adithya’s mortal remains were taken to her home for cremation.
Instagram posts expressing the shock and anger against those who had subjected her to cyber bullying after her relationship with her companion had broken few days ago.
The Instagram posts read:
– “You people killed her. What mistake did she commit for her to be subjected to cyber-attacks?
– Kailas: “The entire blame comes for the girl after her relationship ends”
– Jithu Vyshak: “The news comes as a huge shock. Those who had mentally broken her will be staying happy”.
– Zer0s: “You all are responsible for her death. Her death will haunt you till the end”
– uniq_memer – “Because of your posts she took the extreme step”
– _therealgopikrishnan – “Now all are happy right? You all should understand that we all have sisters in our family. Many think all these girls are backstabbers. She would have had a lot of issues and problems. What is the point now coming up with such words?’
– “All of you finally killed that poor girl. Those who bullied her in social media comes now and say RIP. What a society! When you are alive there are hundreds to say nice things about you. When you are alive, they harass you for each and every thing”.
However, none of her family members and friends were willing to comment on the matter.
Adithya S Nair, a social media influencer attempted suicide a week ago and was admitted at the hospital. Her health deteriorated and she died on Sunday evening.
