After setting swimming pool in car, youtuber Sanju techie loses license for life
Alappuzha: Sending a clear message to those violating motor vehicle rules, the Enforcement RTO has permanently cancelled the license of Sanju techy, a popular youtuber based in Alappuzha.
Sanju’s license has been revoked for life after finding that the youtuber had set a swimming pool in his car and had been videos on a continual basis. RTO officials found the violations in 10 such videos that was uploaded.
Sanju provided an explanation to the RTO that he is was unaware of the violation and he travelled in a car carrying a swimming pool out of ignorance. The RTO officials were not ready to buy the agreement.
Sanju set up an ‘Aavesham’ movie model swimming pool inside his car and drove it through a busy road, which led to the viral video on his YouTube channel. The Alappuzha Enforcement Road Transport Officer took the action after rejecting Sanju’s explanation.
Enforcement RTO R Ramanan informed that the action was taken on account of continuous violations of the Motor Vehicle Act.
It was on May 29th, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) took stringent action against popular YouTuber Sanju Techy for violating various traffic rules. Along with Sanju, his friends Sooryanarayanan (29), Abhilash Gopi (28), and Stanley Christopher (28) were also booked. The MVD registered a case against them under various offenses, including dangerous driving. Additionally, the vehicle’s registration certificate was suspended.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Sanju Techy can be seen driving the modified car along a bustling street. He and his companions are depicted inside the pool, after which he emptied the water onto the road when it began to leak into the driver’s seat and engine.
Sanju Techy (Saju T S), a resident of Alappuzha, recorded the video on May 15 and uploaded it on YouTube on May 17. They removed the seats of the vehicle and arranged a pool using tarpaulin sheet inside the vehicle.
He, along with a few others, bathed inside the vehicle while it was moving.
“While recording the video, the vehicle suffered technical glitches due to the weight of the water inside. So, they opened the door and released the water on the road to offload it”, said Alappuzha RTO R Ramanan.
Sanju was earlier booked for Motor Vehicle Act violations in August 2021 for allowing an underaged child to drive a car on Alappuzha Beach Road.
