Anant and Radhika’s wedding was primarily ruled by two ace fashion designers, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Manish Malhotra as the Ambani women chose ethnic outfits- sarees or lehengas in these designers’ creations.

There were so many looks but we have curated one major look of Nita Ambani, Radhika, Isha and Shloka in Manish Malhotra’s couture for the prime wedding festivities.

Radhika Merchant’s vidai outfit

Radhika adorned a red lehenga from Manish Malhotra’s collection. The stunning blouse showcased intricate gold karchobi work, drawing inspiration from the traditional abho and the rich textile heritage of Gujarat’s Kutch, reminiscent of the late 19th-century craftsmanship.

Paired with a multi-panelled Banarasi brocade lehenga in vibrant sunset shades, this ensemble celebrates India’s enduring grace. A veil with intricate lattice designs in beautiful red complements the attire, while the dupatta is a masterpiece of Banarasi weaving.

At the Anant Radhika Ashirwad ceremony, Isha Ambani captivates in a pristine white silk woven brocade lehenga by Manish Malhotra. Enhanced with intricate silver zardozi embroidery, a centuries-old art form, this ensemble includes a woven brocade blouse and a pure white silk dupatta, showcasing the timeless charm of traditional craftsmanship. Nita Ambani for the Anant-Radhika wedding reception for Jio employees and media wore a tissue Banarasi saree by ace designer Manish Malhotra, draped in the traditional Gujarati style. Handcrafted using the intricate Kadhwa technique, where each motif is woven individually by skilled artisans, this saree took 70 days to complete with the involvement of two weavers.

It stands as a tribute to India’s craftsmanship, featuring a real zari border, complemented by a handwoven purple brocade blouse, and embellished with exquisite gold and silver zari embroidery on the pallu.

Shloka Mehta Ambani looked stunning at her brother-in-law Anant Ambani’s Shubh Aashirwad ceremony, styled by her sister Diya Mehta Jatia and fashion stylist Niriksha Poojary. She wore a custom-made vintage three-piece ensemble by Manish Malhotra, radiating elegance and sophistication.

The outfit included a golden-toned choli with intricate floral motifs, paired with a rani pink silk lehenga skirt adorned with beautiful brocade embroidery and embellishments. To add a distinctive touch, Shloka adorned a sleeveless floor-length orangish jacket in peach and cream tones, featuring tassels on the sleeves.

Her ensemble reflects Abu Sandeep’s intricate interpretation of the Gujarati bridal tradition ‘Panetar’, featuring an ivory Zardozi cut-work outfit with a trailing ghagra layered with a detachable trail, a 5-meter head veil, and a tissue shoulder dupatta.

The ghagra is embellished with three borders of red, intricately hand-embroidered in Naqshi, Saadi, and Zardozi styles with floral motifs adorned with stones, sequins, tamba tikkis, and touches of red Resham. The head veil and detachable trail showcase delicate jaali and cut-work, while a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta adds dramatic flair to the silhouette.

Nita Ambani looked resplendent in custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla attire for Anant and Radhika’s wedding ceremony, featuring a handwoven marvel crafted by ‘Swadesh’ artisans.

She radiated beauty and grace in a real tissue gold Ghagra paired with a Zardozi hand-embroidered real gold tissue blouse.

Completing her ensemble was a red tissue dupatta adorned with Naqshi and Zardozi work, embellished with Swarovski crystals, and a classic Banarasi Zari saree intricately handwoven by ‘Swadesh’, adorned with Swarovski stones and a Surti border. Her outfit resonated with symbolic details befitting the auspicious occasion of a wedding.

Isha Ambani in a custom ‘Rangkat’ ghagra for Anant’s Baraat procession. Her pastel peach ensemble by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is adorned with intricately dense Zardozi hand embroidery, complemented by a multicoloured Katori blouse in Naqshi and Saadi gold, sparkling with numerous Swarovski crystals.
