New Delhi: Bollywood diva Ananya Panday is all set to make her debut in the web series sphere with her upcoming show Call Me Bae. The project was announced sometime back during Prime Video’s grand event. Now, the producer of the web series, Karan Johar dropped the release date for Call Me Bae. It is written by Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s writer Ishita Moitra along with Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair.

Call Me Bae’s story
According to a report by Variety, the story of Call Me Bae is about a young woman who is downsized from being an heiress to a hustler after a scandal. She learns that her most valuable assets are not her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, sisterhood and her better self.
Call Me Bae is an eight-episode series which is set to release on Amazon Prime Video. It is bankrolled by Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Collin D’Cunha.
