New Delhi: After devastating the South African side with their bat, Team India continued their lethal form with the ball as well pushing the hosts against the wall with quick wickets in the second innings. India bowlers dominated as they clinched four quick wickets inside the powerplay to dent the proceedings of the Proteas who were trying to play some shots in the tough chase of 284 runs.
Young pacer Arshdeep Singh proved to be the pick of the bowlers in the lot as he sent three South African batters back to the pavilion within no time. Bowling the opening over, Arshdeep bowled a beautiful delivery to get rid of opener Reeza Hendricks for a duck. The quick delivery by the Indian sensation was pitched on the middle stump which Hendricks tried to defend but the Proteas batter was completely deceived as the balls straight away hit his stumps.

Next on the list to depart to the pavilion was Ryan Rickelton, who was dismissed by Hardik Pandya for just 1 as Proteas lost two wickets inside first two overs. Arshdeep again came into action in the third over bowling out skipper Aiden Markram for a score of 8. On the final ball of the same over, hard-hitting batter Heinrich Klaasen became his third victim as he was caught leg before wicket and departed for a duck.
