New Delhi: With an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series, India would be looking for a clean sweep against Bangladesh on Saturday in Hyderabad. India registered two emphatic wins in the first two T20I matches in Gwalior and Delhi respectively with an remarkable all-round performance and will be aiming to maintain the dominance.
With the series already secured in the hands of the hosts, they will surely look to experiment in the final match, giving space to some youngsters to participate and show their worth. A day ahead of the T20I series finale, Ryan ten Doeschate, assistant coach of the Indian team assured that there is a strong possibility of giving opportunities to the youngsters in the match.
Harshit, Tilak to get chance?
Doeschate specifically took the names of Harshit Rana and Tilak Varma as the two youngsters who can be tried out in the final game against Bangladesh. He said that there is a bundle of talent in the Indian team and fresh faces will surely be given chances at the right. Young pace sensation Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Nitish Reddy were given a chance in the opening two matches of the series, where both the players proved their mettle.
While Mayank sizzled with the ball taking his first international wicket, Nitish was remarkable with both the bat and ball as smashed a blistering half-century and then contributed two wickets. Coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Suryakumar Yadav are expected to use this opportunity and given chance to some new faces.
