Cole further added; “I used to tell him before kickoff that you are in for a bad night my boy. I don’t remember him taking me on successfully. He jumped over the ball, do all the step overs but in the end I get possession back from him very quickly and easily.”
According to the English fulback, Wayne Rooney was the toughest player to mark in that Manchester United squad, he claimed; “Wayne Rooney on the other hand was very clever on possession and he didn’t do too much dribbling but he knew how to get the job done.”
