New Delhi: Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is recognised worldwide for his magical deliveries. The bowler with an unorthodox action proved to be the lucky mascot for India in the T20 World Cup 2024 final match against South Africa. While the pace sensation has weaved magic across the cricketing community with his bowling prowess, even kids and young children look up to the fast bowler.
In a recent video which went viral on social media, a young girl somewhere in the country was seen imitating the pace sensation’s bowling action. The girl, probably in her school uniform, caught the attention of the netizens with his almost successful attempt to imitate the action of the pacer and of course the pace with which she bowled.
Fans suggest BCCI to consider her
Astonished by her attempt, some fans even suggested that the apex Indian cricket board Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) should take her under their supervision and develop her into a fierce pacer for Indian women’s cricket.

Meanwhile, many videos have circulated in the past where people have been seen attempting to imitate the unconventional bowling action of the Indian star. Interestingly, during the World Cup, none other than batting superstar Virat Kohli also tried to imitate the bowling action of Bumrah during a team practice session.
The bowling star has been on a break since the culmination of the T20 World Cup, in which Bumrah played a pivotal role in the success of the team. India beat South Africa in a nervy final to bag the title for the second time and Bumrah bagged a total of 15 wickets in the tournament.
