New Delhi: In a news which is important for passengers, Vande Bharat Express running between Meerut-Lucknow has been canceled from February 7 for 13 days. Also, 26 more trains have been canceled due to yard remodeling of Balamau station in Lucknow Railway Division. These also include Rajyarani Express, and Vande Bharat Express. Rajyarani will not run for six days and Vande Bharat will not run for 13 days. Apart from these, the route of Nauchandi Express has been changed.
The cancellation of trains
According to Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, Himanshu Shekhar, train number 22489-90 Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will remain canceled from February 7 to 19. Train number 22453-54 Rajyarani Express will remain canceled from February 14 to 19. Nauchandi Express will run from February 14 to 18 via Lucknow-Kanpur-Khurja-Hapur. During this period, Nauchandi Express will not run via Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly.
Due to this, passengers will face problems as Vande Bharat Express will not run for 13 days and Rajya Rani for six days. These are the only two trains to travel to Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur in the morning, and due to their cancellation, many passengers will have to travel by bus.
Vaishno Devi Phaphamau Kumbh Special will run from February 18
For the convenience of the devotees going to Mahakumbh, the railway administration will run Vaishno Devi Katra Phaphamau Junction Kumbh Special train in two trips between February 18 and February 24. Senior DCM of Northern Railway Lucknow Division, Kuldeep Tiwari has reportedly said that train number 04613 Vaishno Devi Katra Phaphamau Junction Kumbh Mela Special will leave from Vaishno Devi Katra station at 3:50 am on February 18 and February 23.
The train will reach Charbagh station at 11:57 pm via Jammutawi, Kathua, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Sanehwal, Ambala, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Moradabad, Bareilly. After stopping there for five minutes, it will reach Phaphamau Junction at 4:25 am via Rae Bareli. During the return journey, train number 04614 Phaphamau Junction Vaishno Devi Katra Kumbh Mela Special will leave from Phaphamau at 7:30 pm on February 19 and 24 and will reach Lucknow at 12:10 pm. It will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station at 10 pm on the next night via the above stations. The train will have AC, sleeper and general bogies.
