Babar Azam’s dip in form: Former Pakistan skipper has a remedy for star batter

New Delhi: Babar Azam’s poor batting form and captaincy has been the talk of the town since a long time. The star Pakistan player has witnessed a significant dip in his form where he’s not able to score runs and play as he used to. Not only this, Babar has failed to perform his duties as a skipper of the team as under his captaincy, Pakistan has just faced misery.

While many people have said many things, former Pakistan skipper Younis Khan has joined the debate providing his piece of advice for the flamboyant batter. But what remedy has the former captain suggested for Babar that will see him get back to his usual and also elevate his performance as the skipper of Pakistan unit.

Stay away from social media

The former Pakistan captain has urged Babar to focus solely on cricket and avoid distractions on social media. Stressing on the fact that the star batter possesses the ability to surpass every big record in cricket, Younis said that he only needs to focus on his game and stay away from what people are saying for him. He also said that Babar has the potential to beat even his own massive record and reach 15000 runs in the Test format.

Babar, once pronounced as Pakistan’s modern day legend, has struggled to score runs in the past couple of years. Continuous failures forced him to relieve captaincy after the ODI World Cup 2023 before PCB reinstated him as white ball skipper ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. However, his recent bad performances in the home Test series against Bangladesh has put him in serious danger.

The upcoming Test series against England will be a litmus test for the star Pakistan player as he will be fighting for his spot in the playing XI.

Former Pakistan skipper has given star player Babar Azam a golden advice for improvement, both with the bat and as a skipper.  Cricket Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
