‘Biggest fraud’: Sarfaraz Khan trolled after getting out for a duck in Mumbai Test

New Delhi: India’s middle-order batter Sarfaraz Khan was brutally trolled on social media after he got dismissed for a duck on the second day of India’s first innings in the third Test match against New Zealand. India made a fiery start to the second day, after losing four wickets on the first day, with Shubman Gill (90) and Rishabh Pant (60) stitching a 96-run stand to help the hosts regain control in the match.

But after Pant’s wicket, India quickly lost the wicket of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for 14, who was sent in ahead of the Sarfaraz to main the right-hand left-hand combination with Gill. Jadeja’s wicket paved way for the young Sarfaraz to showcase his skills and power in the longest format but he failed after being dismissed by spinner Ajaz Patel for a 4-ball duck.

Sarfaraz trolled brutally

Much was expected from the talented young batter but he could not display his talent in front of a disciplined Kiwi bowling. As soon as he lost his wicket, he was brutally trolled on social media by fans with some calling him the biggest fraud of India in Test cricket while others wishing him happy retirement. Some of the netizens also compared him with KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer calling the duo 100 times better than Sarfaraz.
