New Delhi: The 12th race of the Formula 1 2024 season will start on July 7. The drivers will start their free practice sessions at the iconic Silverstone Circuit on Friday. It is also the home race of the seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
Mercedes celebrated their first win of the F1 2024 season, George Russell won the Austrian GP and Lewis Hamilton finished fourth. Lewis is known as the king of Silverstone and he ruled the circuit for a decade.
Max Verstappen won the race British GP last time but Lewis Hamilton won the British GP eight times and holds the record for the most wins by any Formula 1 driver in history. In the year 2022, the Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz won his first Grand Prix at Silverstone. After the two winless seasons, there is hope for the Mercedes superstar.
