New Delhi: Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has been appointed as the new manager of the Brazil national football team and will take charge of the Selecao later this month. Ancelotti, who is presently managing La Liga giants Real Madrid, will leave the club at the end of the ongoing 2024-25 season before taking over as the new Brazil manager.
Ancelotti was in talks to become the new Brazil manager over the last couple of months and had also met the representatives from the Brazilian Football Confederation last month. One of the most successful and experienced football managers in the world, Ancelotti will be bringing an end to a successful tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu when he leaves Real Madrid later this month.
