New Delhi: South Africa continued their impressive run in the Champions Trophy 2025 as they thrashed England by 7 wickets in their final group-stage match on Saturday to storm into the semi-finals of the multi-national tournament. The Proteas produced a clinical all-round show to hand England their third straight defeat of the tournament at the National Stadium in Karachi.
South Africa made light work of the 180-run chase with the help of cracking half-centuries from Rassie van der Dussen and Heinrich Klaasen. While Van der Dussen remained unbeaten on 72 off 87 balls, Klaasen smashed 64 off 56 deliveries to power the Proteas to a commanding victory with 20.5 overs to spare in the run chase.
