New Delhi: Another big milestone has been achieved by none other than the Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo, who scores his 900th career goal against Croatia, extending his own record of most number of career goals by an individual. The 39 year old has travelled across the globe and has played for some of the top clubs in Portugal, Italy, England and Spain. His commitment to the Portuguese team is no different as Ronaldo has scored 131 goals for the Os Navegadores whch also makes him the player with most number of international goals.
Ronaldo has been a true icon and a certain inspiration for the younger generation as his work ethic, hard training and discipline has always been a key to his monumental success. He scored the second goal for his side against Croatia tonight, as they managed to ease past their opponents to get the best possible start to their Nations League campaign. It was the goal that marked the milestone for Ronaldo.

The Portuguese forward announced himself to a bigger stage at Manchester United where he built his reputation as one of the most dangerous young wingers. His spell under Sir Alex Ferguson, playing for United was just phenomenal and his return to Old Trafford in 2021 was rather less convincing by his standards but he was an integral part of that United system. However, both the spells at United combined a total of 145 goals for Ronaldo.
The phenomenal Portuguese had his best spell at Real Madrid, making 438 appearances and scoring a mammoth 451 goals for the Galacticos. His spell at Juventus was truly an underrated spell where Ronaldo managed to score 101 goals in 138 appearances for the Old Lady. With a current toal of 62 goals in 68 appearances for Al Nassr, the Portuguese has certainly lit the Saudi league on fire and plans on adding further to his tally. It has truly been a mesmerising journey for the Portuguese icon, as he further cements his name as one of the greatest to ever step foot on the football pitch
