Dana White’s first meeting with Joe Rogan
The one member who is always on White’s side in the UFC from Day 1 is none other than UFC commentator Joe Rogan. Rogan was a comedian and an actor when he joined UFC and worked in the company as a part-timer but now Rogan’s voice has become the biggest voice in the MMA sport.
White also recalled the time when he first time met Rogan to join UFC. Rogan said ‘wait a minute. So you’re telling me I can come to the sport that I love the most in the world, have the best seat in the house and talk about it on TV? I’m in’.”
White also noted that Rogan was willing to work in the UFC for free in the initial days when UFC was just developing. Rogan did 13 UFC events for free and now he is one of the highest commentator in the world. Now Rogan also became the biggest podcaster in the world.
