New Delhi: It seems like star Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has embarked on a political journey after retiring from the T20 format earlier this year. The cricketer’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, who is a BJP MLA from Gujarat, sparked speculations of his husband joining the BJP with a social media post on Thursday.
In a post on social media site X, Rivaba shared photos of Ravindra’s card as a BJP member, along with her own card. The post mentioned the political party’s ‘sadasyata abhiyan’, or membership drive, which kicked off couple of days earlier on September 2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also renewed his membership of the party under the drive the same day.
