‘Don’t Attack Iran’: Saudi Crown Prince Urges Israel To Respect Islamic Republic’s Sovereignty

Riyadh: Urging Israel to refrain from attacking Iran going further, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Tel-Aviv must respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic and stop its offensive on the fronts of Palestine and Lebanon.

Addressing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in Riyadh on Monday, Saudi Crown called upon international community to oversee that tensions in middle-east region does not escalate.

Refrain From Attacking Iran, Stop Aggression In Lebanon

“We call on the international community to uphold its responsibility to maintain international peace and security by immediately ending the Israeli aggression against our brothers in Palestine and Lebanon, and to ensure that Israel respects the sovereignty of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran and refrains from attacking its territories,” Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said at OIC summit.

Meanwhile, in one of the most intense attacks from Lebanon in recent days, over 90 rockets were launched toward the Haifa Bay area, targeting towns and communities in northern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

The barrage marks a significant escalation as fighting between Hezbollah and Israel intensifies.

The initial attack involved 80 rockets, many of which were intercepted by Israeli air defenses. However, a number of rockets managed to penetrate, landing within populated areas and causing substantial damage to homes and vehicles in the town of Kiryat Ata.

Israel says Hezbollah Has Been Defeated

Following the first barrage, a second wave of 10 rockets was launched, all of which either hit open areas or were intercepted by the IDF’s defense systems.

This comes right after Israel’s Defense Minister Katz announced on Sunday that Israel had “defeated Hezbollah” and that the elimination of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, marked a critical milestone in Israel’s security efforts.

Katz described Nasrallah’s killing as the “crowning achievement” of their campaign against the Iran-backed terrorist group.

“Now it is our job to continue the pressure and ..here..we will work together…to materialize the fruits of this victory,” he said.
