Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the North Atlantic Ocean, roughly bounded by Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Since the mid-20th century, urban legends have stated that many aircraft and ships have disappeared there under mysterious circumstances. While science has debunked it, the Bermuda Triangle still continues to evoke mystery.

Mount Vottovaara

Mount Vottovaara is a rock formation in the territory of the Sukkozero rural settlement in the southeastern part of the Muezersky district in Republic of Karelia’s central part. Also called the Russian Stonehenge, the mountain and its surroundings are very eerie, with their dry, twisted trees and strong stone blocks. There are no animals and plants in the place and no species of animal lives in the lake as well. This mystery is reportedly yet to be solved by scientists.

Devil’s Kettle Falls

The Devil’s Kettle, in Minnesota in the United States is a mysterious place. This waterfall is interesting since half of the river’s current disappears into the unknown. In a certain place, the fall gets divided into twon streams and while one of them goes to the upper bole, the second stream goes to somewhere unknown. So far, scientists are yet to clearly decipher where the streams end and where the water gets to.

Stone Balls of Costa Rica

Since the 1930s, travelers have found strange stone balls in strange parts of Costa Rica. The size of these objects vary from a few centimeters to several meters, and their maximum weight is 20 tons. The stones are in perfect shape, which has baffled the scientists. These objects are also present in the forests of Costa Rica
and around 300 spherical stones are grouped into 50 pieces.

Cut Stone

Saudi Arabia has a mysterious rock formation called Al Naslaa which is 90 meters high and 8 meters wide. Interestingly, it seems like the boulder was cut exactly in half and it was done with a sharp, mammoth saw and the cut is very smooth. The boulder’s both sides do not fall on each other or fall to the ground. It is as if some mysterious force is holding them in place and there are also carvings and hieroglyphs covering the stone’s surface.

The residents in Norway’s Hessdalen see a mysterious phenomenon almost every night. Over the valley, a bright dancing lights appear, flickering and changing shape, and then disappears.
