Ex-AP CM YS Jagan Reddy hires private security guards after state government downgrades security

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hired 30 private security guards at his residence in Tadepalli, Amaravati after the state government downgraded his security to that of an MLA, reports said.

The road in front of his house was opened up for public traffic movement, which remained closed during his tenure as CM.

Jagan Reddy used his residence as a camp office to conduct reviews, make key decisions and policies.

With the formation of NDA government, restrictions were lifted near Jagan’s house in Tadepalli. Locals say that they have faced difficulties due to restrictions.

YSRCP has reported of TDP attacks on former ministers, YCP leaders and offices after they lost the election on June 4. 30 security personnel have been appointed near Tadepalli’s residence and camp office for the safety of Reddy and his family.
