After his side’s 5-0 loss against Bayern Munich, Andrej Kramaric was unhappy with his side’s recent performances. disastrous
The 33-year-old accused that the club had made huge investments for “nothing” as they now face the possibility of relegation from the top flight of German football. Kramaric, during an interaction with ESPN after the loss to Munich, felt that he would be sanctioned heavily if he was to give the real picture of the behind scenes. Kramaric in his interview noted that this was always going to be how the season would have looked and felt that this wasn’t just unlucky. The Croatian felt that a squad full of good players were going to be relegated due to poor decisions taken from the backend of the club. Annoyed by the ongoing results, Kramaric has said that if others were unable to bring changes to the club, he certainly would.
At the start of the season, they had major changes madein their top hierarchy with their long-serving managing director Alexander Rosen got terminated. Andreas Schicker, the new managing director terminated Pellegrino Matarazzo as the head coach, bringing Christian Ilzer from Sturm Graz, where Schicker last worked.
Ilzern hasn’t been able to correct the rough course that Hoffeinheim have been on. Last season, Hoffenheim finished seventh in the Bundesliga, though the team has never managed to win a single silverware in the German top flight, their performance has been decent over the years.
In the Bundesliga season, Bayern Munich’s win over Hoffenheim has ensured that they are clear at the top with four points from defending Bayer Leverkusen. Harry Kane’s 16 goals are the primary reason for Die Bayern’s success this season. Leverkusen won their first Bundesliga last season, breaking Munich’s 11-consecutive winning streak.
Andrej Kramaric fears that Hoffenheim’s disastrous season could see them relegated from the top flight of German football and accused the top management of the club for ‘investing’ without return. Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
