New Delhi: The third round of FA Cup will be done by Wednesday and the fourth round of the competitions will contine from the second week of February. This round would involve some interesting fixtures with most of the top flight sides already progressing through to the fourth round. The first set of matches from Friday saw Fulham, Everton and Cardiff progress through while Saturday’s fixtures saw West Ham going out early as Aston VIlla spoiled Graham Potter’s return to the Premier League by beating West Hma 2-1 to progress through.
The fixtures from the same day also saw the Premier League leaders Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Leicester, Nottingham and Bournemouth progress through to the fourth round. We saw Newcastle win their game against Bromley while Tottenham also beat their opponents, Tamworth with the same scoreline of 3-0. Ipswich Town, Southampton and Crystal Palace also emerged victorious to progress through to the next round. Then came the biggest game of the third round that saw two of the most successful English sides taking on, with Manchester United progressing through to the next round on penalties against Arsenal.
