New Delhi: The FIFA Club World Cup is set to kick off on Saturday in the United States with 32 teams vying for the title in the newly expanded intercontinental club tournament. A total of 63 games will be played in 11 cities around the U.S.
This year, the competition is packed with top teams from every corner of the world. Few clubs have even accelerated their summer transfer plans to gear up for the tournament, which is a clear sign that clubs are serious about adding another trophy to their cabinet.

When is the FIFA Club World Cup?
The competition is set to begin on June 14 with the final scheduled for July 13. The group stage will take place from June 14 to 26, followed by the round of 16 from June 28 to July 1. The quarterfinals will take place on July 4 and 5, the semifinals on July 8 and 9 and the final on July 13.
Participant teams
The tournament will include teams from all seven FIFA’s continental federations, which include clubs from Europe (UEFA), South America (CONMEBOL), Asia (AFC), Africa (CAF), North and Central America (Concacaf), Oceania (OFC).

Group H: Real Madrid, Al Hilal, Pachuca, FC Salzburg
Prize Money
The total prize pot is $1bnwith the champions earning up to $125m. Performance-based add-ons will be given to all participating teams.
Around 50% of the $1 billion fund will be distributed among 32 participating clubs, with individual allocations determined by both sporting success and commercial strength. This system, developed jointly by FIFA and the European Club Association, ensures that top-tier clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid receive a larger share compared to smaller clubs.
An additional $475 million will be allocated based on performance. Teams that secure more victories across their potential seven matches will earn more, with the top-performing club eligible for up to $125 million.

The tournament will be streamed globally through the DAZN app and the official FIFA website. In the United States, fans can watch all matches live on FIFA+, YouTube TV, TNT Sports, and TelevisaUnivision.
