The opening ceremony tickets can go from $98 to almost $3,000 (Rs. 8,204 to 2,51,157). As per the FAQ page, 10 million tickets are available for the Games of which one million are priced at around $26 (Rs. 2176) and nearly half the tickets for all the events are available for no more than $54 (Rs 4,520).
Swimming semi-finals and finals are priced similarly, where the lowest level tickets are $92 (Rs. 7700). Prices might also vary based on whether it’s a men’s or women’s event. For example, the basketball tickets for men’s final cost as much as $1059 (Rs. 88,660) as compared to women’s at $551 (Rs. 46,130). The highest-priced ticket for the men’s 100-meter final is also priced at $1059 (Rs. 88,660).
