Butter Garlic Naan recipe
Mix maida, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add warm water and yoghurt, then knead until smooth.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
Melt butter in a pan and state minced garlic in it.
Now, punch down the dough and form small balls from it.
Roll the dough to form a naan or roti-shaped formation.
If using a tandoor, preheat it. For a home oven, preheat to the highest setting and place a baking sheet inside.
Place the rolled naan on the tandoor walls or a hot baking sheet and let it cook until it is puffed on one side.
Place the rolled naan on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form and edges are golden brown.
Immediately after cooking, brush the hot naan with the prepared garlic butter and serve with butter chicken, dal or any other item.
