New Delhi: Gold price today in India was down by Rs 10 per unit to Rs 72,370 per 10 gram. The price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 66,340 per 10 gm. While, the price of 18-carat gold was at Rs 54,280 per 10 gm on Monday. Whereas, silver price today in India was also down by Rs 100 per unit and stood at Rs 91,900 per kg.

Gold price today in the US was slightly up as investors await more insights on the country’s economic data from the Federal Reserve this week. Investors are also looking for Fed’s officials comments on timeline of interest rate cuts in the US. Currently, benchmark interest rate in Washington is in the range of 5.25 per cent to 5.50 per cent.
