Haryana: First they hit a cow, then attacked the family when they protested

The victim has accused the other party’s family of attacking him. Two members of the other party’s family have also been injured.

In Khan (mining) colony situated on Bahalgarh road in Sonipat, a youth has accused a four-wheeler driver of hitting his cow and attacking his family members when he protested.

Two members of the other party are also injured in the attack. Police has registered a case against the family of the other party (particular community) on the statement of the victim’s family. After this, police was deployed in the colony.

Khan Colony resident Akash told Sector-27 police station that on Thursday night his brother Kamal was cleaning cow dung in the street. Meanwhile, Chand, who lives in the neighbourhood, came with his car.

He hit their tied cow on the road. When Kamal asked Chand to drive carefully, he started abusing.

earing the noise, his mother Kavita, aunt Sunita, father Rohtash, uncle Lokesh and Ramesh also came out. From Chand’s family, Gulfan, Nafeesh, Rahishu, Noor Hasan and his mother Kitabo also reached there.

Amidst the argument between both the sides, people from Chand’s side attacked his family with sticks, rods, axes, dao and other dangerous weapons.

It is alleged that Chand’s family entered the house and beat up Akash’s sister as well.

Due to this, she got injured. During this, Chand and his mother Kitabo are also said to have been injured.
