You can open an FD with Axis Bank for 15 months to < 18 months or for 18 months to 2 years to receive this interest rate.  As per the website of ICICI Bank, senior Citizens will get an additional interest rate of 5 basis points over & above the existing 50 bps on FDs for these tenures. On FD for tenure 5 years and above Senior Citizens will be offered an interest rate of 10 bps over & above the existing 50 bps. Rest, on all FDs, senior citizens will earn an additional interest rate of 50 basis points on the interest rate offered to general citizens.
