However, due to her packed schedule, she had to turn it down. Instead, she made guest appearances, including hosting NXT and unveiling the NXT North American Women’s Championship. She later hosted NXT Battleground in Nevada.
She believes rap and wrestling share many similarities, as both require performers to step into a character while still staying true to themselves. She compared the stage and the ring, saying that once the lights go off, performers return to their real lives, leaving behind the personas they create for entertainment.

Despite WWE’s interest in making her a full-time star, Sexyy Red couldn’t commit to the intense training schedule needed to transition into wrestling. Balancing her music career with the demands of sports entertainment was too much, leading her to choose cameo appearances instead.
