According to scientists, four cups of coffee daily are safe, but too much caffeine can harm the heart. Not only can it raise the risk of high blood pressure, but also heart attack and stroke. But what is the safe limit of caffeine for the heart? A study has decoded the same, and as it turns out, there is also a safe limit for this. Anything more than 400mg of caffeine in a day can increase reading on a BP cuff and heart rate.

Lead authors of the study found that regular intake of caffeine can trouble the parasympathetic system thereby causing high blood pressure and heart rate.
