Conditions to avail of the EPFO’s missed call balance check number feature:
First, the EPF member’s Universal Account Number (UAN) should be activated with his EPFO account. Member can activate his UAN with the help of any of the following KYC documents on the portal.
a. Bank A/c Number.
b. Aadhaar
c. PAN
Second, his UAN should be linked with the mobile number registered with his EPFO account number.
If he hasn’t linked his UAN with his registered mobile number, then, he cannot avail of the EPFO’s missed call balance check number option.

Visit EPFO’s website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/).
Log in to Your UAN Account:
Go to ‘Manage’ Section
Click on ‘Contact Details’
Then you need to verify your Mobile Number with OTP.
Once the phone number is verified, it gets linked with the UAN and, then, you can start usage of EPFO’s missed call balance check number feature
