New Delhi: EPS 95 members can carry out life certificate submission process online and offline. Pensioners can submit life certificate at Pension Disbursing Bank, Common Services Centre (CSC), India Post Payment Bank (IPPB), India Post Offices, UMANG app and also at the nearest EPFO Office.
Pensioners can also carry out life certificate submission process online on the basis of finger print authentication process on the UMANG app. But, if they are uncomfortable with that or they face problem with UMANG app, then, instead they can carry out the life certificate submission process online via face authentication apps like ‘AadharFaceRd’ and ‘Jeevan Praman Face App’. In case of the face authentication process, the pensioner’s face is matched with his Aadhaar details. Both these apps give hassle free life certificate submission experience. Pensioners can use these apps for quick and secure face authentication. With just simple steps one can submit the certificate via both these apps. Follow the below mentioned steps to do so.

Scan face of the pensioner
Fill in pensioner details
Submit the image captured from the front camera.
Once the certificate is submitted online, the pensioner can get hold of it on the portal – jeevanpramaan.gov.in

Why life certificate submission process is mandatory?
Pensioners have to give a proof that they are alive. For which, it is mandatory to submit the life certificate. Only then, their pension will be disbursed.

There is no such life certificate submission last date 2024 as the government of India has scrapped it. Now pensioners are allowed to submit the certificate any time in an year. Once the certificate is submitted, it is valid for next one year.
