IMDb’s top 100 most viewed Indian stars of last decade: Deepika Padukone tops the list

New Delhi: Leaving superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan behind, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently achieved a significant milestone by becoming the most viewed Indian star of the last decade by IMDb (Internet Movie Database). The 38-year-old diva topped the list, featuring 100 celebrities, based on insights from millions of users of the digital platform.

In order to get these rankings, data from January 2014 through April 2024 was taken into consideration. The list featured leading stars from the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. Deepika’s global following and consistently growing popularity are considered to be the major reasons why she left some of the biggest names in the showbiz arena behind.

“I’m deeply grateful to be included in a list that captures the sentiment of a global audience,” Dippy was quoted as saying. She added that the recognition was truly humbling and inspired her to continue reciprocating the love she received from audiences. Check out the complete list here:

Deepika Padukone next project

On the professional front, Deepika is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD. The Prabhas starrer is reportedly the most expensive Indian film ever with a jaw-dropping budget of Rs 600 crore. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in important roles.

The Nag Ashwin directorial will be released on the silver screen on June 27, 2024. It has been produced by C Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. Along with Telugu and Hindi, Kalki 2898 AD’s dubbed versions will be out in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English languages.

 Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan secured the second and third spots, respectively, on IMDb’s list of the top 100 most viewed Indian stars of the last decade.
