New Delhi: On the occasion of India’s 78th year of independence, RBL Bank has launched a special edition of ‘Vijay Fixed Deposits’ offering up to 8.85 percent interest rates on its new FD scheme. The private bank said that the Special Edition FD has been launched to show ‘appreciation’ for military personnel and designed as a mark of respect for the service members.
Vijay Fixed Deposits FD scheme is a special 500-day tenor for deposits below Rs 3 crore. The RBL FD scheme ensures 8.1 per cent interest rate, while senior citizens and super senior citizens will earn 8.60 per cent and 8.85 per cent interest, respectively.
“This limited-period offer pays tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our brave soldiers while providing exceptional financial benefits,” RBL Bank said in a statement.
Interested people can apply for RBL Bank Vijay Fixed Deposit scheme by using the RBL Bank MoBank app, or by visiting the nearest RBL Bank branch.
RBL Bank also offers the interest rate of 8.10 per cent on Fixed Deposits with a 500 day tenor. The senior citizens get 0.50 per cent extra and super senior citizens (80 years and above) are eligible for an additional interest rate of 0.75 per cent.
