New Delhi: The Hyundai India Couture Week 2024 kicked off with a curtain raiser by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla on the first day at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. On the second day, Isha Jajodia showcased her presentation for label Rose Room on the runway, who made her debut last year. The collection titled “Art of Eternity – Forever: Today, Tomorrow” took the audience on a journey into a realm of Parisian fantasies. The runway showcased a blend of French motifs and Indian craftsmanship, seamlessly blending to create a mesmerising display of art and fashion.
The show starts by Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, who is the owner of a jewellery brand. She graced the runway in a stunning ensemble featuring a chikankari and pearl-embellished boatneck blouse paired with a lehenga. The designer praised Sahani, describing her as “classic, elegant, and understated,” and emphasised that her outfit was the perfect choice for the show’s opening.
The collection by Isha Jajodia featured a blend of Parisian, Victorian, and Gatsby-esque aesthetics. Models graced the runway in corsets paired with lehengas, bringing together a fusion of styles. The collection came to life with the use of lace, feathers, mesh, fringes, plunging necklines, and 3D appliqués, creating a vibrant and dynamic presentation.
